And so it begins.

Being newlyweds, we thought it would be a great idea to begin a blog so that we can write down all of our trials and tribulations as we embark on life as homeowners. In May, we purchased a 3 bedroom, two-story home and we love it! It's everything we need for the two of us and our two fur babies, Tucker and Haven. 

We figured all of these "let's paint the bedroom", "how are we going to decorate the office?", "let's remodel the kitchen!" ideas would be pretty interesting to write down. And how awesome is this going to be when we can look back at this website when we're celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and think "wow, remember how horrible our kitchen looked?" or "why in the world was our bathroom purple?"

There are plenty of renovations, both small and large, that we'd love to do. Now that our wedding is over we can focus more of our time on making our house more home-y! Plus, I am a DIY/decorating addict and Todd is a pretty darn good cook, so we might as well document those things too.
